Join Our Team.

LAM Campus is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and talented team members. Applicants should be about work with youth and invested in guiding, teaching, and mentoring kids between the grade levels of Pre-K and 5th grade. This position is responsible for planning and implementing a variety of  activities while making an impact on our community's youth. We are looking specifically for candidates who are available before and after school  hours to join our team. The candidate for this position will help students with homework, maintain attendance, keep track of progress, and implement a schedule.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Implement efficient homework system, including but not limited to tracking attendance, creating reward system, and tracking academic progress.

  • Prep, implement, and/or facilitate programs and activities for groups of children.

  •  Promote, encourage, and engage children in program participation.

  • Provide support and guidance to students in our program.

  • Provide direct supervision to students.

  • Willingness to work at sites as needed. *

  • Maintain all state and company training's and certifications. 

  • Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendance.

  • Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the program.

  • Know and understand ALL emergency procedures associated with the program.

  • Perform other tasks that may be required by Program Coordinators and Directors.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Experience working with youth in an academic setting.

  • Must be able to work at different sites as needed.

  • Quick problem solving skills and flexibility in all situations.

  • Must be available to work half days.

  • Patience and ability to motivate and correct behavioral issues.

  • Multi-tasking in fast paced situations.

  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

  • Energy and ability to lead a room full of kids.

  • Access to reliable transportation both to and from work.

  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.

  • Valid NJ State driver's licence.

Hours of Operation 

Before Care: 7am- School Start 

After Care: School End- 6pm.

*This includes mandatory half days
